Making of a Sailboat – La Rochelle, France

In this episode we are in La Rochelle, France at the Fountaine Pajot factory. We see the genesis of a sailboat; from the making of the hull to the stitching of the sails. Ryan rekindles his love for Italian cars (not) AND we get to meet Cheeky Monkey for the VERY FIRST TIME!!

Who’s going to teach us how to drive it? Tasha

What the critics are saying

Delios, La Vagabonde, Cheeky Monkey, this seems be turning into a pretty popular thing.Antred 11

Great choice of music in ALL your videos, make me a mix tape 🙂 Diego

Living the dream guys – congrats! And you have bagged yourselves a beauty of a boat, probably what i would select if i had the opportunity of following your footsteps. Big enough for it to feel homely and have guests on board without feeling cramped, but not Super Yacht size with all the massive additional costs that come with it – fantastic! A couple questions if i may:

-How long did you have to wait from the day you signed on the dotted line until delivery of your new boat?
-How come you chose to buy new over second hand, are you not concerned about the huge depreciation in the first 5 years?
How long do you plan on living aboard more or less?

Keep on rockin guys, if you ever come past Gibraltar give us a shout, would be a pleasure to show you around!

That was short. I don’t think we even watched it.
-after watching it again. Now a few months later after we have caught up on all the videos.

I envy you two! I some day want to retire on a boat and sail the sea’s with my wife alone with no kids! Between you guys Delos Crew and the two Great peeps from La Vagabonde I can only sit here and dream of how great this must be. One day I need to get my kids a sitter for a few weeks and set sail with someone cuz my wife thinks im nuts! I don’t think she understands how great it is when you’re on a boat of your own as she loves going on disney cruises but I think she would love the fact that this kind of cruise boat can take you anywhere you imagination will take you instead of where the captain and disney wants you to go. As I sit and wait for all the new video’s to come out I can only dream but one day i’m going to join you I promise! Saving my pennies now! Hopefully my wife will join me but if she doesn’t I’m gonna grab my son and daughter when they get older and go experience this as this life is obviously limitless and when you get to look at such beauty every day even amenities that you don’t have really dont seem so big of a deal! I may be older and a little grayer but Ill be there ASAP and if I win the lotto tom it will be me cruising by in my 110″ waving at you guys! But for now its just a dream! Keep up the excellence and the great vids and im sure ill see you guys soon.
